Meplas has the initial processing capabilities for over 5,000 tons per year of recovered UK plastic packaging film waste materials that will be fully treated and processed back into a usable and saleable UK manufactured LDPE Film grade Pellet.
The Process of MEPLAS’s operations
Recovered residual plastic packaging material is delivered to the Meplas site for quality control pre-sorting and checking. Sorted material is then fed into the fully automated washing and shredding plant, clean washed shredded bales of film are then produced. The clean washed and shredded bales of film are then fed into the fully automated Pelletiser, where Film Grade Pellets are then produced and stored into Bulk Bags ready for Sale and Manufacturing.
