Meplas specialises in recycling plastics into consistent, high-quality raw materials tailored for industrial use. By partnering with us, businesses secure a reliable source of sustainable materials that support both production efficiency and environmental goals.

Natural LDPE.png

Natural LDPE Recycling

Our Natural LDPE feedstock is mainly sourced from agricultural crop covers, a material that often arrives with traces of mud, soil, and sand. To ensure consistency and quality, we prefer receiving it in roll form. Once on site, the rolls are carefully guillotined into manageable sections, preparing the material for efficient shredding and further processing.

Jazz LDPE Recycling

Sourcing consistent, high-quality recycled LDPE from heavily contaminated post-agricultural and post-industrial film is a major industry hurdle.

Our Solution: The LDPE Jazz stream. We've mastered the art of purification, transforming the most challenging waste films—coated in mud, soil, and food residue—into a premium, washed flake feedstock.

The result is a consistent, clean, and reliable washed flake bale, ready for pelletisation and transformation into new, high-value products. The material retains a minimal 10% moisture content, ideal for manufacturing.

PP Recycling

Our PP/PE feedstock is expertly sourced from a robust blend of post-consumer collections (like the FlexCollect initiative) and post-industrial mixed films from leading food manufacturers.

A premium, clean washed flake baled and ready for the next stage of production. With a optimally managed moisture content around 10%, this feedstock provides a reliable and efficient foundation for pelletising and creating new circular products.

PP Bucket Recycling

he PP regrind feedstock is predominantly derived from post-industrial buckets used in food factories. These buckets tend to be heavily contaminated with food sources and ingredients. The buckets are firstly hand sorted by colour and any metal handles are removed and any heavy food sources are removed where possible that can go for Anaerobic Digestion.

Drum and Road Barrier Recycling

The PE feedstock is predominantly derived from post-industrial food manufacturers and factories as well as agricultural suppliers and road maintenance contractors. The drums are generally used to store ingredients, oils and sauces. The drums are checked for liquids which are then decanted to be sent for Anaerobic digestion. The drums are then readied for shredding and washing. The road barriers are stripped of any metal or non-PE target material and cut down to smaller sizes to be shredded.

PP Coffee Pods Recycling

The PP Coffee Pods can be directly received from post consumers returning their used coffee pods at supermarkets and council drop off collection points and sent directly to our facility. We are then able to de-pack the coffee from the coffee pods as well as separate the film bags the pods are contained in and separate both the aluminium and plastic coffee pod shells.
